It’s already been a very warm, humid and muggy week but it’s about to get a whole lot hotter!
The coming days are set to see the barometer think it’s in the South of France, as temperatures are expected to rise to 29C at times.
Met Eireann already claimed this week that temps could reach 25 or 26c, but now they’re saying that it could even reach as high as 29c in places on Friday.
If the prediction comes to pass, it will be the hottest week of the year so far.
Tomorrow and Friday are forecast to be the best days of the week, with long periods of sunshine, particularly across the mid-west.
