A mini-heatwave is on during the first half of this week, but heavy rain will follow from Wednesday evening onwards, according to Met Eireann.
Temperatures are set to reach a very respectable 27C at times between Monday and Wednesday, though there is a strong likelihood of thunderstorms also.
The weather is set to take a change for the worse by late Wednesday however, giving way to heavy showers over the following day.
