The Leaving Cert results came in on Friday for some 61,000 students with grades said to be much higher than last year. Unlike 2020, students could sit exams, get accredited grades or a mixture of both.
Students lost out roughly on 14 weeks of in-class training but the Department of Education gave the students what’s described as a compromise between sitting exams and estimating what the students would get.
The education Minister told students not to panic or worry this coming week as the first round of CAO offers get replaced on Tuesday at 2pm.
