The Minister for Health Simon Harris has revealed that the number of hospital and ICU admissions have halved in the past week.
Speaking in the Dáil this afternoon, Harris revealed that the number of Covid-19 hospital admissions has dropped from 40 a day to 20 a day.
Meanwhile the Health Minister said that the number of admissions to Intensive Care has fallen from 4 to 6 a day to 2 a day.
The Health Minister also told the Dáil that current reproductive rate is between 0.3 to 0.8 according to latest statistics.
