The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has confirmed that steps have already begun to resume the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine roll-out this weekend.
In a tweet Minister Donnelly said that the HSE are advising clinicians and other medical vaccine administrators with new information about the roll-out.
Donnelly”s comments after NIAC announced that it was recommending that the vaccine is safe to use in Ireland.
The advice came after the European Medicines Agency declared the vaccine safe and effective.
