A lady named Marion Carroll who had MS has finally had her healing at Knock recognised by the Papal Office in Rome.
Marion, who is from Athlone Co. Westmeath, has campaigned non stop after she was cured at the National Marian Shrine 30 years ago.
It’s understood that Marion went to Knock in 1989 aged in her late 30s and was wheelchair bound and completely incontentien due to Multiple Schlerosis.
Marion told a statue of Our Lady of Knock that Mary must know what it was like for a mother to suffer greatly.
After she attended a Mass, she said that she had a complete healing and was fully recovered from her ailments immediately.
Doctors couldn’t explain how she was healed but finally Knock has Marion’s official healing marked down in the Vatican.
