A number of witness statements have been taken in the investigation into the alleged assault on 3 girls in Courtown, County Wexford.
According to RTE, an incident room has been set up in Wexford to deal with the investigation. The sexual assault allegedly happened around 12.15am on Sunday near one of the beaches in Courtown. It is also reported that 2 of the complainants are aged 14 and the third is also allegedly a teenager.
While the investigation is still at an early state, it is reported that Gardai have also travelled to Kilkenny to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the alleged assault.
