Mixed reaction to Labour’s Jeremy Corbyn vowing to scrap tuition fees and Universal Credit if elected into Government

Social media has been awash with opinions both for and against the suggestion by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn that his party will scrap tuition fees and the much-maligned Universal Credit scheme if elected into Government.

Many people feel that it would be socialistic to go ahead with such plans, while others say it will help students who need it for third level education.

Mr. Corbyn has deemed Labour’s election manifesto as ‘radical’, and one that would introduce ‘real change’ in British society.

Great Britain will go to the polls next month to elect a new Prime Minister after Boris Johnson’s short and controversial tenure.
