Mixed reaction to possibility of hundreds of migrants flooding into Galway

There has been a very mixed reaction to the prospect of hundreds of undocumented migrants flooding into Galway with absolutely no consultation with the good people of the city.

A county councillor from Galway has told Nail Boylan that he does not believe the government will consult the citizenry of Oughterard about plans to house supposed refugees at the Hotel Connemara Gateway in the town.

Cllr Tom Welby, speaking on the Niall Boylan show, said he believes the government has secret plans to house asylum seekers at the Hotel Connemara Gateway, and that they plan to do this regardless of the concerns or objections of the citizens.

It is thought that the government is keeping such plans for migrant plantations in small, rural towns, as part of the population replacement programme, to avoid protests and demonstrations that would invariably manifest in response.

This follows revelations that the government will also ignore the public dismay and disgust at the news that another €65 million of taxpayer’s money will be spent on new centres for asylum seekers in Kildare, Meath and Wicklow.
