Mixed reactions to HSE saying that over 250,000 people across Ireland have so far been vaccinated against coronavirus

There has been a very mixed reaction to the HSE claiming more than a quarter of a million people in Ireland have already received one or two covid vaccines.

The Health Service Executive (HSE) has said over 250,000 people across Ireland have so far been vaccinated against coronavirus.

According to HSE, the total number of vaccinations administered now stands at 269,200.

A total of 3,612 people have died from Covid-19-related causes across Ireland so far. The number of vaccinations are a cumulative number of people who’ve received their first and/or second dose of the vaccine.

Over the weekend, hundreds of GP’s and Practice Nurses received their first or second vaccination in an effort for them to be able to start administering vaccines themselves.
