More and more movies and TV shows postponed and cancelled as filming gets halted due to Covid-19 virus




The BBC has suspended filming for all its regular dramas including EastEnders, Casualty, Doctors, Holby City, Pobol y Cwm and River City.

In a statement on the official Twitter account of EastEnders, producers of the show announced the suspension of its filming and also said:
“We have also taken the decision to reduce the amount of episodes we broadcast each week to two.”

The spread Covid-19 virus has led to numerous has led to the postponement of several TV shows and movies from being released as filming is halted and people refrain from going to public gatherings such as cinemas.

The release of films such as ‘Quiet Place II’, Bond movie ‘No Time to Die’ and others including Disney’s ‘Mulan’, ‘The New Mutants’ and horror film ‘Antlers’ have all been postponed while the upcoming Lord of the Rings series and various other Netflix shows have also been delayed.
