The tragic carnage continues on our roads.
Two women, both aged in their 40s, were hit by a vehicle on Hartstown Road in Dublin just after 2.30am earlier today.
They were rushed to Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, where one of the women was sadly pronounced dead, and the second one remains in a serious condition. The occupants of the car did not sustain any injury.
