More of the same – Leo Varadkar doesn’t rule out going back in with Fianna Fail “as a last resort”

The Taoiseach Leo Varadkar was interviewed on Virgin Media by Collete Fitzpatrick on Thursday evening who questioned him on a potential coalition partnership with Fianna Fail.

Varadkar was very quick to stamp out any suggestion that Fine Gael would enter into any government formation with Sinn Fein but did not rule out going back into government with Fianna Fail.

He was adamant that his party wouldn’t go into government with Sinn Fein and would like his party to have the most sitting TDs after the election but said for the sake of the economy at a last resort, he’d look at Fianna Fail.

If the polls are to be believed, it may well be a case of more of the same from next week.
