More people have been arrested in connection to public order incident in Galway




GardaĆ­ have made three further arrests as part of an ongoing investigation into a public order and threat incident which occurred on Sunday 10 September 2023 in Galway City, reports Breaking News.

Three men, one in their 40s and two in their 20s, were arrested this morning during an operation in the Galway area.

They are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Western Region.

The total number of persons arrested to date in connection with this investigation is twelve (12), reports Breaking News.

GardaĆ­ in Galway are continuing to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

They are particularly appealing to anyone who was in the College Road and Headford Road areas of Galway between 5.45pm and 6.45pm on Sunday evening and observed any aggressive behaviour to contact them.

In addition, people with camera recordings, including car camera recordings, in the area are asked to provide these materials to the police, reports Breaking News.
