There’s tragic news from Cork today after a young man aged in his 20s dies in a road crash.
The incident happened on the Glenville Road at Ballincrokig, Dublin Pike, at 2.45am on Sunday morning.
It’s understood that the car the man was driving hit a wall and that he was the only occupant of the vehicle.
Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to the morgue at Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination is to carried out.
The road remains closed while gardai carry out an investigation.
