Gardaí in Co Kilkenny have confirmed that a woman has been taken to hospital in critical condition following a road traffic incident this morning.
It is understood the woman was taken to hospital following a collision on the N77 just north of Kilkenny City, near Ballyragget.
Gardaí say the woman was taken to St Luke’s Hospital where she remains in serious condition.
