Everyone knows you shouldn’t wear white to a wedding. Everyone, that is, except the mother of one bride who not only wore white but chose a white lace dress for her own daughter’s wedding.
According to the Mirror, the story appeared on a Facebook group that talks about the strangest things happening at weddings all over the world. The group, called “That’s It, I’m Wedding Shaming” posted a picture of the wedding, showing the mother of the bride standing next to her daughter. As you might expect, the bride wore a beautiful white lace dress. And her mother wore….a white lace dress!
The story was perfect for members of the group, who are said to have been outraged by the picture. One person even said that if her mother had turned up in that dress then she would have insisted that she change into a different one.
Not everyone will agree that wearing white is the wrong thing to do. One thing’s for certain though, it certainly makes for a strange wedding photo when it’s hard to tell the difference between the bride and her mother!
