The mother of 11-month-old baby Karol has thanked the Kerry community following his tragic passing.
Baby Karol died in an apartment in Killarney on Sunday. His mother, Anna Rozycka, will fly home tomorrow with her mother Tereasa with the body in preparation for the burial in their home town of Bielsko-Biala.
A family friend has issued a statement expressing gratitude on behalf of Anna Rozycka and her family thanking staff and management at the Aghadoe Heights Hotel in Killarney where she works as a chef.
They also thanked gardaí, the chaplain to the 5,000-strong Polish community in Kerry, Fr Piotr Delimat, and Killarney Parish Priest Fr Kieran O’Brien.
