Mother Teresa of Calcutta, who dedicated her life to helping the poor, will enter sainthood after Pope Francis approved a decree recognizing a miracle attributed to her. The miracle in question was the healing of a man suffering from brain tumours.

Mother Teresa died in 1997 at the age of 87. She is expected to be canonized in a ceremony in early September of next year.
