Gardaí in Co Meath have begun an investigation after a woman was injured during an aggravated burglary in Duleek on Friday morning.
According LMFM, the woman aged in her 30s was attacked by a man armed with a knife after he broke into the house on Friday morning.
It is understood a baby was inside the house at the time of the attack, but thankfully was uninjured in the attack.
Gardaí say the woman was taken to hospital, but its believed that her injuries are not life-threatening.
