Early learning chain Mothercare has collapsed into administration in the UK, putting up to 2,500 jobs at risk.
Mothercare is the latest in a long string of big high street shops to collapse amidst huge losses in recent times.
The company operates a number of stores here in Ireland, but it is unclear if these will be affected.
