Gardaí in Co Wicklow have sadly confirmed that a man has died following a road traffic collision this afternoon.
It is understood the man died after the motorcycle he was travelling on collided with a vehicle on N81 at Poulaphouca.
Gardaí say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, whilst a second man who was a passenger on the motorcycle was taken to Tallaght Hospital with injuries.
They added that the driver of the car was uninjured in the incident.
