Numerous times we have reported on attempted child abductions, now, it appears as though one man attempting to steal a child has been caught before managing to do the evil deed.
A 46-yr-old man has been charged with a total of six counts of attempted child abduction in Derry. The accused was arrested on Friday after police became aware of a man acting suspiciously towards children in Strathfoyle shortly after 4:30pm.
It’s understood that a number of concerned citizens managed to apprehend the man and keep him at the scene until police arrived. He was later taken to hospital.
The accused it due to appear at Derry Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
