Motorists are being warned to be extra vigilant this morning as there widespread frost in most places after temperatures dropped to -2 degrees.
Met Éireann are advising motorists to be extra careful and to take it easy as temperatures’ will remain in the low single digits first thing.
The warning also comes ahead of a bitterly cold day ahead with temperatures expected to range between 5-8C, however heavy rain is expected later in the day.
