There are multiple weather warnings in place as horrid conditions hit Ireland today.
Two Status Yellow warnings, covering counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Waterford, Donegal, Galway, Mayo, and Sligo, will remain in effect throughout the day.
According to Met Eireann, many areas around these counties will experience very heavy rain and strong winds, potentially leading to localized flooding and travel disruption.
