The Minister for Housing Eoghan Murphy is set to come under increased pressure for his handling over the current homeless crisis as the chair of Dublin City Council Housing Committee is set to submit a motion of no confidence.
According to Kfm Radio, Councillor Daithí Doolan, has said he is submitting the motion as believes that Minister Murphy must go.
Mr Doolan also said that the current figures are shocking and the handling of the entire situation is unacceptable.
It is believed that Mr Doolan’s motion of no confidence, comes after latest figures published last week show that there are currently 10,000 homeless people across Ireland.
