Musician Jim Corr gets big support for taking stand against Big Tech censorship as he takes legal challenge against Twitter over account suspension

Irish musician Jim Corr has gained big support on social media after standing up to Big Tech’s increasing censorship of opinions it deems as wrong think and taking legal action against Twitter over its suspension of his account.

Mr Corr’s Twitter account, which had over 50,000 followers, was suspended over breaching the social media sites “Covid-19 misleading information” which basically forbids people questioning the establishment line on the Chinese pandemic.

The Sunday World reports that Mr Corr stated in relation to legal action:
“I am challenging Twitter over the suspension of my account with almost 50,000 followers.
“Twitter is acting in conjunction with the Irish government who admitted working with social media companies in order to shut down and stifle certain voices with certain views in a blatant and unacceptable attack on free speech.”

In January Belfast firm KRW Law wrote to Twitter decrying the censorship of Mr Corr and requested that his account be immediately reinstated.

In recent months the Big Tech giants have upped their campaign to stifle and censor anyone who questions the official narrative around Covid-19 and other political issues such as alleged election fraud in the recent US Presidential vote, seeing even then US President Donald Trump being banned from Twitter.
