Gardai searched a house in South Dublin on Monday afternoon as part of an investigation into who “Rocket Man” actually is.
Viral footage shows a man walking up to the front of the crowd, facing gardai and launching what appears to be a firework missile into a number of gardai.
As a result of the search, gardai found a number of fireworks in the house and on Tuesday morning they arrested a man in his early 30s under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act at Irishtown Garda Station.
It’s understood he’s being questioned in relation to the firework incident solely.
