Enda Kenny this week decided to take to the streets at night with Christy Burke and members of The Simon Community to see first-hand what exactly is going on on our streets late at night in the homeless community.
The hypocrisy of this was evident by social media users this week who commented that the Taoiseach was in fact – the reason a lot of people are living at the streets in the first place.
Kenny and Co. thought it’d be a great idea to close the loop-hole which stopped banks repossessing properties, and indirectly evicting people who couldn’t meet their mortgage repayments.
The audacity of this government has never been seen before. From Joan Burton commenting about Irish Water protests having expensive phones and tablets, to the Kenny condescending the Irish people to foreign European and American bodies.
The national water protests have marked a line in the sand that categorically show Kenny’s government no longer have a mandate to rule the State. He won’t resign, he’s far too conceited for that, but he genuinely should – it’d be far more honourable than the absolute trouncing FG and Labour will receive in the next general election.
