NASA has begun releasing the next wave of images from the James Webb Space Telescope, the most powerful observatory ever launched into orbit.
“This morning, folks across this planet are going to see the images captured by this telescope, and every image is a new discovery,” said Bill Nelson, NASA’s administrator.
“Each will give humanity a view of the universe that we’ve never seen before.”
NASA officials gathered today to reveal more of their first projection from the James Webb Space Telescope of galaxy-strewn images from deep within the cosmos, the largest and most powerful orbiting observatory ever launched.
