The country of Nepal has today been struck by a second quake, measuring 7.4 in magnitude.

Initial reports coming from the devastated region say that at least 37 people have been killed, and oveer 1,000 injured, though these figures are likely to rise.

Today’s seismic event triggered landslides and rocked buildings to the ground, and comes just two weeks after the biggest earthquake in 80 years devastated the country on April 25 last.

Billions in international aid have been pouring into the impoverished country, in an effort to palliate the consequences of the disaster.
