Another week, another Netflix scam surfaces.
Internet monitoring authorities have warned that Netflix users are being targeted again, as fraudsters are trying to get them to hand over personal details.
The scam takes the form of an email that says something along the lines of “your account has been temporarily suspended, click here to update your payment details.”
The link leads to a near-identical page to the authentic Netflix page, only it isn’t.
If you do receive any such email, ignore it and report it to the legitimate Netflix customer service department.
