Questions have been raised as to Ireland’s stance on neutrality given that the Taoiseach Micheal Martin wore a scarf of the Ukrainian colours.
Martin was marching in a St Patrick’s Day parade in the UK where he also had a green scarf on underneath his coat, flanked by his wife Mary.
While in America, Martin said that all Irish people are behind the Ukraine in their plight with the crisis that’s going on with Russia.
