The US is reportedly sending a shipment of Switchblade drones to Ukraine, in a move that spells really bad news for Russian troops.
These remote-controlled drones can be transported in a backpack and be launched in seconds. They’re armed with a miniature warhead that can effectively destroy soft targets and annihilate an unfortunate human target. These unmanned aircraft are equipped with a quiet electric motor to prevent detection until it’s too late.
Switchblades are specifically designed to seek and destroy enemy troops waiting in ambush, mortar crews, and small groups of combatants laying down mines and other explosive devices.
