New British army chief tells troops, UK must have military capability to fight a war in Europe claiming it could face a situation as bad as 1941

The priority of the British army is no longer inclusion and the recruitment of as many transgenders and Muslims as possible, it is now being prepared to fight a war with Russia in Europe the new Chief of the General Staff Sir Patrick Sanders has said.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been one of the most outspoken supporters of the Ukranian regime of Volodymyr Zelensky and stands accused of cynically using the war to distract from his myriad of political and economic domestic failures and never-ending series of scandals at home.

Now Johnson’s political career is being given another boon from Patrick Sanders, who took command of the British army this month and according to the i newspaper on Sunday told British troops in his first address as their new commander: “I am the first Chief of the General Staff since 1941 to take command of the Army in the shadow of a land war in Europe involving a continental power.”

“Russia’s invasion of Ukraine underlines our core purpose — to protect the UK by being ready to fight and win wars on land.”
