
A man has died following a motorcycle crash in Tullyvin, Co Cavan, on Sunday morning.
The single-motorcycle crash at Drumsillagh occurred at approximately 10.50am, reports Breaking News.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 70s, was removed from the scene by paramedics before being airlifted to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where he was pronounced deceased on Sunday evening.
The road was closed to allow examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and has since reopened, reports Breaking News.
Gardaà are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dashcam, and were travelling in the area between 10am and 11am on Sunday 5 July, are asked to make it available to investigating gardaÃ, reports Breaking News.
