New electricity supplier enters the Irish market

Panda Power has become the latest contender in the electricity supply battlefield in Ireland.

The Irish company has spent upwards of €40m in setting up, and has vowed to offer the cheapest rates and “aggresively compete on price.”

From today onwards, Panda Power will offer electricity from renewable-only sources at a discounted rate of 15.47 cent per kWh, with standing charges of €157.77 in urban areas, and €192.72 in rural areas.
