New figures just released show that 2019 was the worst year for hospital overcrowding on record by far, according to an article published by the Irish Mirror.
The figures show that a total of 118,367 people were forced to languish on trolleys for days at a time in some cases, before being admitted to a ward.
The Minister for Health Simon Harris has yet to voice his opinion on this appalling indictment of his tenure.
