The world’s most famous archaeologist/action hero will be given another outing, if current rumors prove to be correct.
The long running Indiana Jones adventure saga began way back in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark, followed by a much darker sequel, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1984. There would be two more cinema sequels, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) The character also featured on TV series, video games, and other media.
It remains doubtful, however, whether Harrison Ford (now aged 71) will reprise the role. Chris Pratt and Bradley Cooper have been linked to replace the aging actor, with Steven Spielberg rumored to be also involved.
