The Government are set to introduce new legislation that will see the use of cigarette machines being banned in pubs and nightclubs.
The news comes as the Department of Health they plan on banning the sale of tobacco products from vending machines nationwide.
However the news comes as a blow to the vending machine operator who currently employ close to 150 people.
A department spokesperson said: “Vending machines by their very presence help to advertise and promote tobacco products.”
“It is proposed to extend the existing ban on self-service vending machines for tobacco products to all locations.”
