Popular support for Fine Gael remains at a constant 28%, while Labour is still lagging behind with a paltry 8%.

However, these figures are far from what they need to retain power, and if an snap election was called, the parties would fall by the wayside.

Fianna Fail commands about 20% of the electorate, while Sinn Fein fell to 19%.

The same poll reveals that Independents and Others are up one point to 25%.
