New poll shows support for Sinn Fein has sky rocketed since the election

An opinion poll conducted by the Sunday Times claims that support for Sinn Féin has increased dramatically since the general election last month. The Sunday Times Behaviour and Attitudes poll asked some 900 voters over the past nine days up to last Tuesday. It has a margin of error of some 3.3%.

This poll now suggests that Sinn Féin has added to its vote over the last few weeks since the general election. It means that it’ll put massive pressure on Micheal Martin and Leo Varadkar to form a coalition government.

The poll would suggest that Sinn Fein’s support is now up to 35% with Fianna Fáil falling by two points to 20% with Fine Gael dropping down to 18% support.
