The Economic and Social Research Insitute (ESRI) have just released new figures that seem to indicate that full employment would be more beneficial for most jobseekers than staying on the dole.
The report found that only 3% of jobseekers would be better off staying on welfare, and also that 6 out of 10 jobseekers would see their income more than double if they took up full employment.
And the report also revealed that about 80% of jobseekers would earn at least 40% more if they worked full time.
