The term is called Afrophobia and this report was carried out by the European Network against Racism (Enar) Ireland. Over 200 alleged incidents of racism were examined over two years. The abuse those of African descent have to deal with include discrimination, violence and harassment. Some examples of racism include: An African woman living with her two children in the North of Dublin had her neighbour repeatedly call her child who is twelve years old “fat black b*tch”. The neighbour lives seven houses away yet has her children playing outside the woman’s house in the hope of provoking them. Racial slurs such as “n***er” and “animal” are shouted at the family on a regular basis. Enar is group of more than 50 organisations for example Age Action Ireland, Irish Traveller Movement and Siptu.
