New research claims that the Delta variant infects both vaccinated and unvaccinated people with some people angry that ‘the vaccine isn’t as effective as it could be’

Some people query why they should get the covid vaccine as it appears that ‘the vaccine isn’t as effective as it could be’, however top medics claim that the vaccine does keep people out of hospital and minimizes their chances of catching covid in the first place.

There’s still a wide number of people who say that they’ll never get the vaccine regardless of consequence, while other people say that they’re already waiting for their turn to receive their first booster vaccine.

New research is suggesting that the Delta coronavirus variant infects both vaccinated and unvaccinated people with the same ease, proving the futility of vaccination in preventing infection or transmission.

The research further suggests that vaccinated people are just as infectious as those who have not been vaccinated.

The study, which has not yet been peer-reviewed, was conducted in partnership with the Office of National Statistics (ONS) and the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC), using data collected between December 2020 and August 2021 from the Covid-19 Infection Survey.
