New survey reveals that majority of workers would like to continue to work from home after covid-19 restrictions are eased




A new survey has found that 83% of employees would be in favour of working remotely once covid-19 restrictions end.

According to new statistics published by NUI Galway and the Western Development Commission, the vast majority of employees say they are happy with their new working environment.

The survey which included 7,000 respondents showed that 30% employees felt that working from home had increased their productivity, whilst 25% said it reduced.

The survey also showed that most employees said that they feel there is benefits to the system.

Amongst the benefits employees said that more flexibility was created by the environment.

They also say they found their day less stressful as they did not have to contend with traffic delays and commuting.

However some did say that working from home did not come with out a cost with many citing poor broadband and the lack of contact with colleagues being the biggest drawbacks.
