The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has called on the public to double their efforts in order to halt the spread of Covid-19.
In a message on Twitter, Donnelly called on the public to continue social distancing and to use face masks.
The call comes as Ireland has seen a rise in cases over the past two weeks.
The Health Minister also said that we must continue to adhere to guidelines in order to protect the most vulnerable in society as the virus is still with us.
