Nightclubs across the country could be open until 6am under new proposals being discussed by the Government.
Speaking today the Tanaiste Leo Varadkar said the new legislation surrounding Ireland’s alcohol law’s could be in place by Christmas.
The Tanaiste’s comments come as the Minister for Justice Helen McEntee confirmed over the weekend that Ireland’s licensing laws are being reviewed.
It is thought that the Government are committed to the idea that will bring nightlife inline with the rest of Europe.
