Police in the US have confirmed that nine people have been killed and several others have been injured after a shootout between rival gangs in Waco, Texas.
It is understood that shootings happened after a fight broke out between the rival gangs in the car park of a restaurant. Police also say they have recovered a number of weapons at the scene which include clubs, knives and guns.
The Waco Police Department issued a brief statement on their Facebook page which said they have made several arrests and have sealed off the scene. They said no officers were injured in the incident.
