The Health Service Executive (HSE) has confirmed that people over 60 who refuse the AstraZeneca vaccine will be offered no alternative.
The jab has been associated with blood clotting events worldwide, many of them fatal.
Despite this clear risk, the HSE appears bent on pushing this particular vaccine for the older age groups.
